Accommodation
Many of our trainers live in large houses in the countryside so you will have peace to study and a chance to see everyday life away from the usual tourist routes.
We always choose our families for their interest in other people and cultures as well as their ability to teach English.
One of your hosts will be home-based and qualified to teach English as a foreign language. This will give you the best combination of family life and learning.
Our host families are proud of British culture and many of them are expert cooks who love to serve traditional food and drink. Britain has a poor reputation for its food but we are convinced that your stay with one of our families will change your opinion forever. During your stay your hosts will take you to an English pub and, if time and your language level permits, to the theatre or cinema.
You will stay in a spacious bedroom usually with ensuite or private bathroom. Towels, toiletries and power adaptors will be supplied by your host family.
Most of our host families live in the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, which together form part of the region of East Anglia. The region has many old houses and castles, as well as a large number of beautiful churches and cathedrals. There is a wide range of pubs, museums, theatres, cinemas and concert halls...
Above all, the tranquillity of the region means that it is an ideal place to study both the English language and our culture.
